ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has filed a lawsuit against five HYBE executives for defamation and other charges.
Min and others from ADOR have decided to sue current HYBE CEO Park Ji Won, Audit Committee Chairperson Lim Soo Hyun, Chief Legal Officer Jung Jin Soo, Chief Financial Officer Lee Kyung Joon, and Chief Communication Officer Park Tae Hee.
According to ADOR, the five executives are accused of obstruction of business, unauthorized access to electronic records, network intrusion, and defamation.
These defendants have repeatedly and illegally obtained personal messenger conversations and personal information, then leaked and falsely edited them according to their own intentions.

NewJeans’ label then claimed that the defendants forcibly obtained ADOR-owned business laptops used by the plaintiffs under the pretext of “auditing a subsidiary of the parent company” with the intention of removing CEO Min Hee Jin following her complaints. Through this, they allegedly secured private KakaoTalk messages and even forensically examined a laptop that Min had reset and returned when she joined ADOR in 2022.
ADOR even alleged that the defendants tempered and distorted the personal conversations obtained.
The defendants edited and distorted the acquired personal conversations to create press releases with false information about Min Hee Jin’s management and business performance, distributing these to the media to generate negative public opinion about her.

ADOR emphasized that they had “repeatedly requested” that such actions be stopped due to the harm they caused their artists and ADOR members and the public confusion they caused. After understanding the defendants would not stop, the company decided to take action.
