Actor Hyun Bin recently shared a heartwarming confession about his wife, Son Ye Jin.
During a recent behind-the-scenes celebration party for his movie Harbin, Hyun Bin talked about his marriage in a conversation with a Chinese actress named Zhang Rui, who now lives in Korea. Zhang posted on the Chinese social media app Xiaohongshu to share her experience of meeting the actor.
She described Hyun Bin as a true gentleman and recalled him speaking very fondly of his wife and son. He even proudly showed pictures of his newborn while talking about his family.
In his conversation with Zhang, Hyun Bin apparently admitted that he was initially uninterested in marriage when he hadn’t met Son. It was only after meeting the actress that he felt that he wanted to have a family of his own, though he didn’t expect to become a father so soon. According to Zhang, the actor hoped to enjoy some more married couple moments with Son Ye Jin before the arrival of his child.
Regardless of the timing, Hyun Bin rose to the occasion and became a complete family man. He allegedly told Zhang that he was worried about not making it back in time for Son Ye Jin’s early delivery while he was filming overseas. But fortunately, he made it.
He is also very careful of the smallest things when it comes to his family’s comfort. The actor supposedly told Zhang that he often worried about waking up his family if he returned home too late.
From not having any plans to getting married to becoming the most loving husband and father— does it get any more movie-like?
