That is more than double the amount sold by the previous record-holder, X1, whose debut album Quantum Leap sold around 500,000 copies during the first day after it came out.
Along with this, Youth in the Shade is now also the fifth best-selling K-Pop album of 2023, surpassed only by SEVENTEEN‘s FML, Stray Kids‘ ★★★★★ (5-STAR), TXT‘s The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, and aespa‘s MY WORLD.
Their accomplishment was recently shared on an online forum, where fans expressed their pride and excitement for ZEROBASEONE!
With such a promising debut, it will be interesting to see just how else ZEROBASEONE impacts the K-Pop industry and community during the length of their career together!
