During the show, a photo was posted showing the crowds of media and photographers trying to get a shot or a moment with Jin, and it definitely seemed like a lot with many people crowding around the idol.
Shortly after the photo was posted, a video gained attention of Jin politely asking the media and photographers to move back, as they were seemingly very close and invading his personal space. The idol seemed confused when they didn’t respond to the request, but the woman with Jin made sure to keep asking them to move away until they complied.
The reporters and photographers were crowding Seokjin a bit too much that he had to politely ask them to step back and give him more room ???? pic.twitter.com/h1irUpnMDR

Netizens shared their concerns for the clip, but also pride at Jin setting boundaries.
As an introvert watching all of it, it makes ME anxious

Standing up for yourself in a foreign environment is super difficult. I’m glad he knows he can (and should) stand up for himself when he feels uncomfortable. Looking at how they crowded around him… made even me feel uneasy through a screen https://t.co/3VtWpAzU2V

Jin is a role model in healthy boundary setting. Always polite but firm and assertive. And he will not be ignored!

It also raised concerns about the general etiquette of media outlets and how, at these kinds of events, they seem to crowd celebrities for the perfect shot or a chance to speak to them, even if the circumstances might not be ideal.
one thing i’ve noticed is that foreign media don’t seem to care about the celebrities themselves. they’re only focused on taking pictures and filming, without considering whether the person has enough space to move or if they might fall due to the crowd+ https://t.co/MqrGAf9n1a pic.twitter.com/nlHrZ1FPBd

It’s good that he didn’t hesitate to ask for more room. He sets boundaries.. Those photographers are really too much.
