Polish content creator Matthew Nowicz has recently gone viral for a video of himself making mandu (Korean dumplings) and impressed netizens with more than just his cooking skills.
Matthew moved to Korea from Poland when he was 16 and stated in an interview with Groove Korea that he was quickly drawn to Korean food and culture.
He’s been in Korea for almost eight years and works as a model, pilates instructor, and content creator. He often shares posts about his daily life in Korea and world travels on his Instagram, which has amassed over 47,300 followers.
In May 2023, Matthew started a new Instagram account (@mattcooksforyou) dedicated to his Korean culinary adventures, uploading videos of himself making popular Korean dishes.
His new Instagram account isn’t his first introduction to the Korean culinary scene. In 2021, he appeared on celebrity chef Baek Jong Won‘s show, Chef Baek Jong Won Class, where he learned more about how to cook Korean dishes.
The multi-talented content creator frequently earns praise for his interest in Korean cooking and his Korean language skills.
His homemade kimchi mandu video on his cooking Instagram account currently has 26,409 likes and over 1,000 comments complimenting Matthew’s cooking, Korean, and handsome visuals.
