Kim Soo Hyun is embroiled in controversy regarding the late actress Kim Sae Ron. Following the news, netizens threatened to boycott the brands if they didn’t cut ties with the actor.

Some netizens noticed brands removing the actor, but those like Jeju Airlines explained that it was not directly due to the controversy, whereas beauty brand Dinto acknowledged the issue and are looking into it, explaining that all schedules related to the actor were put on hold.
Yet, it seems like the public has taken matters into their own hands. On various Korean forums, photos shared some of the actor’s endorsements being turned around or taken down.



A tweet with some of the pictures went viral, and netizens shared their reactions to what was happening. However, some claimed the NEPA advertisement was not Kim Soo Hyun.
