Three years after Squid Game became a global sensation, Lee Jung Jae is back as Seong Gi Hun to lead an all-star cast into the next round of deadly games. This action-packed horror-thriller promises twists, turns, and new villains, such as Player 230.
Player 230 is played by a former member of BIGBANG, T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun), who previously acted in Iris, Tazza: The Hidden Card, and more. Although his casting has received mixed criticism, fans are looking forward to learning more about his character.
In the Squid Game 2 trailers, Player 230 eliminates fellow players by pushing them, triggering the laser-eyed Red Light, Green Light robot from Season 1.

Although the latest trailer is attracting plenty of attention, a detail from a previous teaser has also piqued some fans’ curiosity. In this scene, as Player 230 cranks back his arm to punch another player, his nail polish is visible.
On X, one hawk-eyed viewer pointed out the similarity between T.O.P’s nails and the nail polish recently worn by BIGBANG’s G-Dragon.

G-Dragon rocked this colorful nail polish and a Chanel outfit on his way to the 2024 MAMA Awards in Osaka, Japan.
Although T.O.P’s nails and G-Dragon’s nails aren’t identical, they’re similar enough to stir up emotions in fans who hope to see the two perform together again someday.
