Recently, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé told the story of how the members would celebrate each other’s birthdays when they were trainees.
In a new interview, she discussed how the members didn’t have much money prior to debut.
Instead of spending money on a cake, they would buy a box of Choco Pies and stack them up into the shape of a cake.
To finish it off, they would add a candle on top.
The members would surprise the birthday girl by bringing in the plate full of Choco Pies and singing “Happy Birthday.”
However, this isn’t just their own tradition — Others do it, as well!
The girls have always done their best to make each other feel loved on each of their special days!
