The fourth-generation boy group LUMINOUS has now gone their separate ways.
In a post on their X account, the group announced their disbandment, saying that the company and the members had decided to end their contracts.

Hello, this is BarunsonWIP.
We sincerely thank all the fans who have loved and supported the members of LUMINOUS.
After long discussions and careful consideration, both our company and the members have decided to conclude the contract and activities of LUMINOUS.
Since their debut in 2021, the members have worked tirelessly to grow and develop, and we are deeply grateful to LUMINI and all the fans who have supported them throughout this journey.
BarunsonWIP wholeheartedly supports the members as they embark on new beginnings. We hope that the experiences gained over the past three years will serve as a strong foundation for Youngbin, Suil, Steven, and Woobin as they move forward in their respective paths.
We kindly ask for your continued interest and encouragement for the members in their new endeavors.

LUMINOUS made their debut on September 9, 2021 with their first mini album Youth as a five-membered line-up. Their most recent release was in November 9, 2024, a collaboration YORO.
Their last group release was in 2022 with “Engine.”
