On February 18, Channel A exclusively reported on the late Oh Yoanna’s diary entries, which were released by the bereaved family.

According to the reports, the diary was written in February 2023 and contained her struggles with workplace bullying and her directly confiding her hardships to MBC officials at the time.
The seniors gathered all the mistakes that I’d made and submitted them to their superiors and constantly cursed at me in the group chat. It hurt that all of you said that I wasn’t it, so instead of learning or practicing, I avoided them and drank alcohol.

Two days before writing this diary entry, she met with MBC officials to discuss renewing her contract.
“I made a huge mistake but didn’t properly apologize, so there was a lot of tension while I kept apologizing. I did something considered bad, but I wasn’t humble, so they seemed even more angry.
I’m not good at expressing myself and am not the type to communicate quickly or act sweet, so I think there were many misunderstandings.”

An MBC official advised her to resolve the situation internally. The bereaved family revealed that the official was different from the four MBC officials with whom Oh Yoanna had reportedly confided her grievances.
