Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon might be one of the most successful and rich celebrities in Korea, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be relatable in her day-to-day life every now and then.

Recently, Hyoyeon appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM‘s Cultwo Show along with INFINITE‘s Dongwoo. During the show, DJ Kim Taegyun shared an anecdote involving Dongwoo where he gave away the clothes he was wearing to a fan after they complimented his outfit. While this conversation was ongoing, Bbaek Ga suddenly noticed Hyoyeon’s outfit and exclaimed, “Hyoyeon is wearing PRADA today!”

Hyoyeon was sporting a dark grey jacket with a white T-shirt inside, along with a white furry bucket hat. The jacket had an upside-down triangle tagged on top, showcasing a brand name.

Though the brand logo looked a lot like PRADA’s, Hyoyeon coolly admitted, “This is fake!” Bbaek Ga jokingly responded, “Looking closely, it actually says Peulhaja,” making Hyoyeon crack up.
When Kim Taegyun remarked that the Hyoyeon would make headlines for getting “caught” wearing “fake luxury,” the idol nonchalantly replied, “I mean, I can wear fakes.”
Hyoyeon’s refreshingly unfiltered attitude toward wearing dupe luxury items has won her praise from netizens.
Meanwhile, Hyoyeon recently revealed that the SM Entertainment project group she was a part of, GOT The Beat, had turned down an offer to perform at Coachella. Read more about it here:
