The highly anticipated tvN weekend K-Drama When The Stars Gossip has left Korean netizens with what many viewers call a devastating disappointment.

According to the viewership rating research company Nielsen Korea, the show’s finale recorded a rating of 2.55%.
The series started with a 3.324% rating in the first episode and 3.883% in the second episode, making the second episode rating its highest.

However, the viewership ratings never exceeded 1-2%, with the final episode barely breaking the 2% mark.

With this, Korean netizens mocked the title of the drama, saying that they “shouldn’t have asked,” as the literal translation of the title is “Ask the Stars.”

- “I knew it would suck because it was sci-fi. It was screwed from the storyline.”
- “So hilarious.”
- “I shouldn’t have asked lol.”
- “The genre was going to be divided from the beginning.”
- “There is nothing wrong with space. If you are going to make the male lead obsessed with the uterus, they should have made him an omega and made him succeed in making a guy pregnant.”
- “The news title is so funny…I shouldn’t have asked.”
- “The title lolololol.”
- “The plot is so behind with the times…the story too…”
