After a string of scandals, a popular singer-actress and her then-husband divorced in 2024. Now, rumor has it that she has made a new love connection.
On June 13, 2024, Malaysian singer-actress Bella Astillah and Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz divorced for the second time. The couple previously divorced in 2019 due to Aziz’s alleged infidelity after he was spotted with several women. Astillah and Aziz reconciled and remained married for five more years.
At a press conference in April 2024, Astillah claimed Aziz had cheated on her with 11 women, including her own sister.
In an interview with TheCommonFolks SG YouTube channel, Aziz admitted to cheating but didn’t go into detail. “To be honest, I don’t keep track of the numbers,” he said. “But I think there is no need to elaborate on the past. [Bella Astillah] said what she said. I know myself.”
In January, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman–a Malaysian politician and convicted criminal–became a hot topic after appearing in a dance challenge video with Bella Astillah on her TikTok. The 32-year-old politician has been sentenced to seven years in prison and two strokes of the cane for multiple corruption-related charges. Syed Saddiq appealed the ruling and is currently serving as Muar MP while awaiting the appeal’s outcome.
Since the TikTok video, the pair’s chemistry and closeness have given rise to dating rumors. The two recently visited the parliament together with Astillah’s oldest child, Ayden Adrean, and took photos with the parliament staff.
Astillah previously addressed dating rumors with Syed Saddiq by stating, “I would prefer to put aside personal affairs and focus instead on improving my singing and acting, as well as taking care of my children and family.”
