A recent clip of an aespa bodyguard tackling a man to the ground is going viral on social media.
The incident occurred at the SBS Gayo Daejeon on December 25 at the Inspire Arena in Seoul. aespa attended the event and gave an impressive performance of their latest hit, “Drama.”
However, before the main performance, the members walked the red carpet, joining the MCs on an elevated stage to pose for media photos.
When they were coming down from the stage while greeting fans, a strange man came running toward Winter, holding a camera. He was trying to get under the barrier rope around the red carpet to get to the members, but a bodyguard fortunately tackled him to the ground before he could reach them.
The commotion left the aespa members and the audience in shock. The clip showed the man still trying to click pictures of them after the guard took him down.

Once the clip spread on social media, fans praised the bodyguard for his prompt action but also called for SM Entertainment to provide tighter security for their artists.
