SM Entertainment subsidiary Kreation Music Rights, which recently acquired Kim Woojin‘s label 10x Entertainment, announced that the soloist will be making his comeback in April.
This is about eight months after he released his last solo album, The Moment: Bounce (美成年), which came out in August last year. It’s therefore his first album release since joining SM Entertainment, which has added quite a bit of anticipation to his solo work.
After leaving Stray Kids in October 2019, Woojin had his debut as a soloist in August 2021 with his first album, The Moment: A Minor (未成年), and has had a fairly busy career since then, releasing OSTs, starring in a web film, and even embarking on a solo world tour in 2022. He also appeared in HBO Max’s romance fantasy series My Magic Closet, becoming the first Korean actor to be cast in the global project.
While his departure from Stray Kids was met with controversy, scandals, and scrutiny, it seems that the overall response to Woojin’s solo comeback has been quite positive, as he has made a name for himself as a talented and likeable soloist and the accusations originally directed at him were eventually found to be false.
Will you be tuning in to Kim Woojin’s comeback?
